About

Hi, I'm Sazed.

An AI product leader who ships. I don't stop at the brief — I take products all the way to launch, with AI as the engineering team.

Portrait of Sazed Alam

I'm a product leader with 16 years across product management, web development, and marketing — currently Senior Product Manager & Leader at Digital Room, based in Los Angeles. I've led product lifecycle, strategic planning, and go-to-market, and built and developed the teams around them.

On my own time I've taken 20+ AI SaaS products from a blank page to working software — some live, some still in progress. I'm not an engineer; I direct AI as the engineering team and own everything else: problem framing, positioning, UX, scoping, launch, and support.

Eight are broken down in the work — from live products like Appointira and Convervo to demos and a university project. Doing it end to end is why my product judgment holds up: I know what “good” looks like at every layer, not just the spec.

What I'm looking for

A Director of AI Product or Head of Product (AI) role at a company that treats AI as a way of working, not a feature. I want to own the AI product strategy, build and grow the team, and stay close enough to the craft to still ship.

How I work

Find the real problem. Get the smallest thing that tests it built. Put it in front of real people, fast.

AI makes shipping cheap, so the discipline moves: what to build, for whom, and what “good” means. I've taken 20+ products all the way to real users, so my prioritization comes from what actually happens after launch — adoption, support load, the features nobody touches — not from a framework.
