Note: ShopRadar is a demo I shipped solo, with AI as the engineering team, on representative data — the product and the decision surface, not a live feed integration.

The idea

Merchants running product feeds — Google Shopping, marketplaces — fly blind on two things: how their prices really compare to competitors right now, and where their ads actually rank. ShopRadar puts both on one screen: price vs. market low over time, ad-rank trend, a live feed of competitor moves (undercuts, new entrants, rank changes), and a list of the highest-leverage actions ranked by estimated rank gain.

How I approached it

I led with the product doing its job. The screen isn't a pitch — it's the working dashboard: real deltas, named competitors (Running Warehouse, REI, Backcountry), and opportunities scored by projected impact. My decisions were about which signals actually change a merchant's behavior, and how to make a dense analytics view feel like a to-do list.

What's there

A working prototype: KPI tiles (products tracked, alerts, average ad rank), a price-vs-market-low chart, a recent-alerts feed, and a “Top Opportunities” table where each row is a concrete move — “drop price $5 to overtake Running Warehouse at #1” — tagged by type and projected rank gain.

What I'd do next

Connect a real feed through the Content API, and validate the ad-rank estimates against what merchants see in their own Google Ads reporting before anyone acts on them.
